During the weekend, we visited building of VegLab in Freistadt, AT, where we prepare Garden Networks project. In collaboration with VegLab, we will make some events during the Festival of Regions in June. The dome is amazing!
Garden Networks is a series of online and local activities bringing attention to the multiple layers of interconnectedness of human and organic living forms. The project aims at activating and strengthening online networks of gardens and bio-labs, knowledge networks, invisible network of roots, networks between our minds and environment, or food networks.
Garden Networks is organised by
Node9.org and is developed and hosted in symbiosis with the VegLab project, creating spaces for encounter and exploring the practices of communities dealing with nature.
Coming soon:
One of the network layers will be ~~ Biophillic Network ~~ the catalog hosted online, containing a list of libraries, gardens, hacker farms, citizen labs, artistic research centers and places of post-fossil environmental practice. It can serve as a meeting hub suited for workshops and artistic field research.
