S200 anti-aircraft rocket base near Prague, socialist Czechoslovakia. Built in 1984-5, had 34 rockets and radars able to detect flight formations above Nurnberg (300 km). In 1990s abandoned.

Impressive! It reminds me of German naval bases and bunkers dating from the second world war. There are still hundreds of them on the French Atlantic coast. Close to my home, a few kilometers away, there are still a dozen of them, in very good condition. But also abandoned.

This is large area in hills, formerly top secret. It is relatively new and it was working just 10 years. You can see how much work and resources was put there and how stupid this militarism is now of no avail. It would be nice place for some festival, for some reason it is closed and illegal to go there.
